Who are we?
The Ames High Auditorium Tech Crew is a student crew responsible for all sound and lighting needs in the Ames High School Fine Arts Auditorium. New crew members are taught basic lighting and sound techniques while upperclassmen are given opportunities to design for plays, concerts, and other events. Click here to learn more.

Recent News:
1. All paid tech crew members are now considered employees of the high school and automatically get minimum wage. This only applies to 5 or 6 members of the crew, as that is all that we will be able to have for paid members. The crewheads will determine who gets paid for which shows. Want to know what we're looking for?
2. We got a $500 grant from Wal-Mart from when David and I applied last fall! :D So far we've purchased 2 more 4-Channel Dimmer Packs, a 4-way DMX splitter for the brain and some DMX Cable. Still looking for an affordable Hazer; that's what we're planning on spending the rest on.
3. Homecoming Battle of the Bands is on Thursday, September 24th! Should be a great one. We are renting a haze machine from Jay at prosound, so that will be fun. Not to mention we are redo-ing the way we usually do lights, so most things are new!
